Texans Week 4 Summary

Games at last!! The blustery took a break and both teams were able to get in some game action this week and plan to take the Lion vibe throughout the month… read on to learn more.

Texans JV

On Tuesday, February 25, the Texans JV took on the Salado Eagles JV in a double-header. The Texans JV won the first game, however the Eagles came back and evened things up by winning the 2nd game. Later in the week, the Texans JV won a close game against the Granger Lions. In the coming week, the boys take on Holland High School on Tuesday, March 3rd, then follow that up by participating in a tournament at Copperas Cove High School, playing games on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Texans Varsity

The Varsity squad is pushing through a slow start to the season. Only one game this week, played on Friday February 28, where the Texans dropped a close game to the Lions of CTCS High School. However, good news! As with the Texans JV squad, there are multiple games scheduled this week. First, on Tuesday, the Texans Varsity will have a tilt against Holland High School Varsity, to be played right after the JV game. Then they will participate in a tournament at Burton High School with games on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Plan to check the Texans Varsity calendar for updates and locations. Psalm 1:1-5

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers;

but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he mediates day and night.

He is like a tree, planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.

The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away.

Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgement, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;
